Spectacular Debut of Manila Bridal Fair by Manila Prince Hotel

The first-ever Manila Bridal Fair by Manila Prince Hotel unfolded in grand style at the Grand Ballroom on July 26 and 27, 2024.

Opening Ceremony

On July 26, the Manila Bridal Fair commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the hotel lobby, beautifully adorned with a backdrop by Joyce Aguilar and live entertainment by Music Podium Entertainment. The ceremony was graced by Atty. Jose D. Lina, Jr., president of Manila Prince Hotel, Elaine Santos, Vice President for Administration of Manila Prince Hotel, Marvin Kim Tan, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Manila Prince Hotel, and Charlie Dungo, Director of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila. Distinguished attendees included representatives from Manila Bulletin, led by Badette Cunanan, Public Relations Manager, and Barbie Atienza, Head of External Affairs and Human Resources, as well as The Manila Times, led by Blanca Mercado, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Roda Zabat, Vice President for Sales and Marketing. Following the ceremony, guests, friends from the media, and content creators were given an exclusive tour of the fair to explore various exhibits. The entrance at the Grand Ballroom featured a stunning black and white-themed tunnel designed by none other than Amante Fleurs.

The evening culminated in a stunning bridal fashion show hosted by Mike Acuña, highlighting ready-to-wear gowns and suits by Carina Canlas, Fatima Beltran, Ryan Chris and members of Designers Circle Philippines: Bepz Torres, Ron Ryan, Edwin Uy, and Johnny Abad. The show was attended by The Manila Hotel executives, Badette Cunanan and Barbie Atienza of Manila Bulletin, and Ron Ryan Buguis and Dafort Villaseran of The Manila Times. The opening prayer was beautifully sung by Atty. Jose D. Lina, Jr. and Noble Queen Earth 2023 Janina Lorelei, with Atty. Lina performing two additional songs for the delighted audience. Marvin Kim Tan led a celebratory toast, and guests enjoyed a selection of pass-around cocktails throughout the evening.

Day Two Highlights 

The second day, July 27, featured an engaging talk by Benz Co-Rana, the founder of Weddings at Work, who shared her valuable insights and personal experiences with couples and wedding suppliers, enriching the event with her expertise.

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, Manila Prince Hotel management kindly asks the full cooperation of the Responsible Fur Parent. The below policies should be observed at all times:

  • Only vaccinated cats and dogs under the size of 2 feet may stay in Manila Prince Hotel. Proof of vaccination is required.
  • Only one pet per room is permitted. Applicable Pet Fee applies.
  • Only registered in-house pets are permitted on the hotel premises.
  • Pets should always be on a leash or carrier while in public areas of the hotel.
  • Pets should always wear diapers—including inside the guest room.
  • Pets should not be left unattended anywhere within the hotel premises—including inside the guest room.
  • Pet owners should maintain the overall cleanliness and hygiene of pets.
  • Pet owners should properly clean and dispose of any waste.
  • Pets are only allowed in the guest room assigned to owners and at other pet-friendly public areas identified by the hotel.
  • Housekeeping will only service the guest room as long as pets are not present inside the room.
  • Pet owners accept full responsibility for any personal injuries and/or property damage caused by their pets.
  • Pet owners should promptly report and declare any damages caused by their pets.
  • Pet owners are solely liable for any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, charges, fines, penalties, and/or expenses that may arise as a result of bringing pets into the hotel.
  • The hotel may collect and use the information provided about the pet owners and their pets for emergency purposes and to process any applicable fees. Hotel management reserves the right to relocate pet owners and pets when deemed disruptive to hotel operations or causes inconvenience to other guests.
  • Management reserves the right of final interpretation of the policies.
  • Pet owners should be mindful of the hotel’s quiet hours and keep the noise level to a minimum, especially during the nighttime.
